Becoming

There comes a moment on every journey when we realise we are no longer who we once were, yet not quite who we are destined to become.

This painting captures that sacred space in between.

Beneath the moonlight, a lone figure follows the winding path beside still waters, guided not by certainty but by trust. Butterflies dance around her, symbols of transformation and gentle change, while the spiral above her reminds us that growth is rarely a straight line. We revisit old lessons, uncover hidden strengths, and return to ourselves again and again, each time carrying a little more wisdom than before.

Becoming is a celebration of unfolding; of allowing ourselves to evolve naturally, without rushing the process. Like the phases of the moon, every stage has its purpose, and every step along the path is part of who we are becoming.

Created in acrylic with touches of moonlit sparkle, this piece forms part of my oracle collection inspired by nature, spirit, and the wisdom found along life's winding paths.
