The Yule Fox — Warmth Within the Winter

Beneath an ancient tree, while snow falls softly across the winter landscape, a fox curls herself tightly against the cold.

Above her hang simple Yule offerings — herbs gathered from the earth and golden stars catching the light — small reminders of the old ways and our connection to the turning seasons.

There is no fire here.
The warmth comes from within.

Fox reminds us that winter does not always ask us to keep moving. Sometimes it asks us to find shelter, draw ourselves inward and conserve the little flame we carry inside.

Yule arrives at the darkest point of the year, when the earth itself appears to sleep. Yet beneath the frozen ground, life is waiting. The light has not disappeared. It is simply resting before its return.

And perhaps we are allowed to do the same.
May you find warmth when the world feels cold.
May you give yourself permission to rest.
And may the quiet flame within you never be forgotten.
