The Sacred Ascent

Not all journeys are measured by distance.
Some are measured by courage, by perseverance, and by the quiet decision to keep placing one foot in front of the other.

The Sacred Ascent follows a winding path through the mountains beneath the light of the moon. Marked by an ancient standing stone bearing the spiral, the path invites us onward, even when we cannot see where it leads. The lake below reflects where we have been, while the mountains ahead whisper of who we may yet become.

The spiral has become a recurring symbol throughout my work this year, representing growth, transformation and the understanding that life's journey is rarely a straight line. We return to familiar lessons, but each time with greater wisdom and deeper understanding.

This painting is a reminder to trust your path. Progress is not always dramatic. Sometimes it is found in the smallest steps, taken with intention and faith.

The summit may not yet be visible, but the journey itself is sacred.
