The Anemone Keeper
Description
Little Ry β The Anemone Keeper π€
Some magic is quiet. It doesn't ask to be seen β it simply finds a place to belong.
Beneath the moon, where white anemones scatter across the hillside and the mountains meet the still water, Little Ry sits amongst the flowers, watching tiny sparks of magic rise into the night.
The second painting in my Flower Fairy collection, Little Ry β The Anemone Keeper represents the letter A and is also the first boy fairy to join the Keepers.
His name is a little tribute to Ry, a member of my Moonlit Circle who proudly calls himself a fairy β and it seemed only right that somewhere within this growing magical world, there should be a fairy for him.
Anemones are delicate woodland flowers, appearing as the earth begins to wake again. For me, they suit Little Ry perfectly β gentle but resilient, quietly taking their place beneath the trees without needing to be anything other than themselves.
And, like every fairy who will follow, he carries a tiny spiral within his wings β a little piece of Rachel Beams Art magic woven into him. π
